About The Scratching Post Cat Cafe
The nine resident cats each have distinct personalities: Deborah (a silver smoke Maine Coon with a big voice), Dexter (her solid black brother, huge and food-motivated), Bing (sleek and affectionate), Tilly (gentle tabby and white who loves brushing), Luna (small black and white with big attitude), Ron and Fred (playful brothers), Suki (ginger mother cat), and Dolly (sensitive tortoiseshell). Every cat is an individual—some come straight over to say hello, others prefer to watch from favourite perches or enjoy peaceful naps. Reviewers consistently praised the friendly staff, delicious cakes, amazing coffee, adorable welcoming cats, and the cosy, quiet atmosphere. Many highlighted excellent value—just over £10 for entry, coffee, and cake for a group.
Visit fees: £4.50 adults, £3.50 ages 11-16, £2.50 Kitten Club (under 11s). Main cafe is for ages 11+; ages 11-16 can visit alone if following rules independently.
