Purrfect Space

Purrfect Space is a groundbreaking UK concept: a calm co-working and wellbeing event space designed around rescue cats. Created by the team behind Munchies' Craft, it represents the next chapter in their mission to build kinder spaces where people and animals thrive together. The name plays on "purr"—reflecting the cozy, restorative atmosphere. Purrfect Space operates a sanctuary-and-foster model: some rescued cats are permanent residents (including cats rescued from Turkey with disabilities or complex needs who require lifelong care), while others are fostered short-term through partnerships with accredited UK rescue charities awaiting rehoming. The space prioritizes neurodivergent and sensory-sensitive guests through intentional design: soft, earthy colors, warm gentle lighting, no expectation of eye contact or socializing, and autonomy to step away anytime. Cat welfare is licensed and regularly inspected by Brighton & Hove City Council.

Reviewers emphasize the quality of both the workspace and the animals. Visitors describe "fast WiFi," "incredibly relaxed and happy" cats, and a "beautiful environment." One regular noted it's "the perfect environment" for those struggling with working from home. Staff are consistently praised as "super friendly and helpful," maintaining a "warm feeling." Seven resident rescue cats include Porti (Ginger) and Aslan (Maine Coon), described as genuinely content. The co-working atmosphere supports focus and wellbeing; reviewers appreciate the calm vibe while noting cats "come to you"—interaction is never forced. A software collaboration group praised the space's clear cat welfare priority and common-sense rules. One note: "some cats like laptops!"
