The Posey family—five humans and a lively crew of home animals—felt called to create something positive, welcoming, and uplifting in their community. A chance drive past a cat café in Charlotte provided the answer: a beautiful way to introduce people to rescue cats and create meaningful impact around animal welfare.

The unique cage-free environment at Right Meow provides adoptable rescue cats with a safe, low-stress, loving space while they wait for their forever families. The whole-house layout offers abundant room for both cats and visitors, with spacious cat rooms, bright colorful décor, and thoughtfully designed enrichment for feline happiness. Booking online is highly encouraged to ensure a spot due to limited capacity. The custom drink menu is impressive and delicious, featuring boba tea, coffee, frappes, and lemonade options. Parking is plentiful and easily accessible for both ambulatory guests and those with mobility challenges.

Right Meow partners with Facilitate Rescue Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to rescuing cats from the Harnett County Shelter and community situations, providing foster care and socialization until adoption-ready. All cats at the cafe are available for adoption. The atmosphere is exceptionally clean, welcoming, and genuinely centered on cat welfare—staff have clear guidelines in place to protect both feline and visitor comfort.
