Rescued Treasures Cat Cafe is Nevada's first cat cafe, established in August 2019 and owned and operated by PALnv, a nonprofit organization founded in 1993 dedicated to preventing unnecessary euthanasia and improving animal welfare. The cafe provides a relaxing experience with adoptable cats and kittens, complementary free WiFi, complimentary beverages and snacks, games, gifts, and the Rescued Treasures Boutique featuring cat-themed decor and merchandise. The organization's mission centers on saving lives of domestic cats and kittens living on streets lacking skills or conditioning to survive street cat perils, while reducing cat overpopulation through spay/neuter programs and related initiatives. The cat cafe operates Thursday and Friday from 12 PM to 7 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 12 PM to 6 PM, with hourly sessions priced at $10 per person on weekdays and $12 per person on weekends. Cafe capacity accommodates 15 people maximum, with walk-ins accepted based on availability and sessions beginning and ending at hour start times. Children must be at least eight years old, with minors requiring adult supervision at a ratio of one adult per five minors. Adoptions operate on first-come-first-served basis. The facility includes separate spaces for different cat populations: a main cat room with comfortable seating and toys, a dedicated kitten room for young animals, and a quiet room for cats new to the facility still adjusting to the environment.
