PURe JOY CAT CAFE

PURe JOY CAT CAFE is a nonprofit cat adoption lounge and gift shop run by father-and-son team Frank and Isaac, who beam with genuine passion for their mission: providing adoptable cats a wonderful place to live with daily care, food, medical treatment, and socialization until they find their forever homes. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated before becoming adoption-eligible. Every donation supports these essential needs and the cats' well-being.

The space is divided into a cozy cat lounge and a separate kitten playtime extravaganza room—both included with admission. An entrance donation is required to visit the cat lounge and kitten room; if you book an appointment, a cookie and drink are included with your donation. Prepackaged cookies and drinks are available for additional purchase. The facility is remarkably clean, odor-free, quiet, and calm. The space includes multiple areas where cats can isolate if needed, and a detailed board displays each cat's information (including entertaining notes about personality and history). Frank is exceptionally kind and friendly, clearly demonstrating that he and his family truly care about what they do. He provides personalized recommendations based on visitor preferences and adoption interests, ensuring thoughtful matches between cats and families.

The gift shop at the front entrance, open to the public, features a lovely collection of cat-related gifts and knickknacks. The majority of cats are friendly and active—a delightful surprise compared to many cat cafes where cats are sleeping. The facilities work with local rescues, providing exposure and adoption opportunities for cats that might otherwise have limited visibility. Visitors at various life stages benefit from the experience: those missing lost feline companions find comfort and healing; families enjoy quality bonding time; those unable to own cats currently get therapeutic connection; and adopters find their perfect match with guidance from Frank's knowledgeable recommendations.
