Pounce Cat Cafe + Wine Bar in Savannah, Georgia, is the southeastern partner of the Charleston location, bringing the same mission-driven approach to feline rescue and adoption to downtown Savannah. Part of the Pounce network that has facilitated over 4,000 adoptions since December 2016, the Savannah location operates in partnership with The Humane Society for Greater Savannah, housing 15-20 cageless, free-roaming adoptable cats.

The space embodies the belief that cats are curious, active animals deserving enriching environments. Rather than remaining caged at the shelter, cats live at Pounce in a comfortable, loving space where they can play, roam, and socialize—allowing their true personalities to shine and creating better matches with adopters. This model directly impacts the no-kill movement by freeing shelter resources to rescue more animals across South Carolina, Georgia, and the Southeast.

Visits cost $17 per person for one hour and include a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage (beer and wine available for additional fees). The space is clean, peaceful, and beautifully designed with cozy spots for cats to rest and guests to sit while enjoying quality time together. All food is pre-packaged to ensure hygiene and safety. The adoption process is seamless: spend an hour bonding with our adoptable kitties, fill out an interest form if you've found a match, complete adoption paperwork on-site (must be 21+ with ID), and leave with your new companion. Collar tags display each cat's name, age, and gender, making it easy to remember and connect with individuals. The gift shop features books, t-shirts, toys, stickers, magnets, koozies, and home goods. Reservations are recommended to guarantee your spot, though walk-ins are accommodated when space allows. Private events for up to 20 people are available for $250-$300/hour with optional open bar packages. This is adoption at its most humane and heartwarming.
