Opened in Himi, Toyama, MiiA Poché (MiiA Pouch ~Neko-han~) emerged from founder's decade of volunteer experience with local rescue organizations. Motivated by witnessing countless cats unable to be saved despite urgent need, she established this adoption-focused cafe to create a bridge: "protecting lives we refuse to abandon, creating a place where cats and people meet happily." The facility combines rescue cat cafe operations with integrated hotel accommodations, generating revenue to support ongoing rescue activities while offering long-term placement support.

Named adoptable rescue cats include Rindou (shop manager, shy but playful with toys), Tsutsui (curious explorer, toy-responsive), Shaga (emotional on/off mood swings), Mika (appea-focused, seeks attention), Kai (large gentle sweetheart, people-observant behavior), Umi (Rindou's cautious mother, in socialization training), and Mao (fully people-comfortable, cat-socialization in progress). The facility design emphasizes cat wellbeing—private spaces available for rest, temperature control, separate cat/people areas. Founder's personal background driving shelter operations and daily volunteer milk-bottle care reflects the organization's genuine rescue commitment beyond cafe operations.

Hours: 10:30–16:00 (last entry 15:30); closed Tuesday/Thursday (Wednesday closure if Tue/Thu is holiday). Pricing: 30 min ¥1,000 general/¥800 preschool, 1 hour ¥1,600 general/¥1,000 preschool (includes drink); hot drinks +¥100, specialty grape juice +¥200; 30-min extension ¥700/¥500. Self-serve hot drinks available (caution with hot liquid around cats). Drink bar included: coffee, cafe au lait, tea varieties, apple juice, grape juice, barley tea, green tea; specialty Himi mountain grape juice available. Food: frozen shue-cream (¥250, eat as shoo-ice or thaw for shue-cream). Socks required. Adoption: all named cats available with direct interaction for matching and 2-week trial period.
